This Ballad (a short poem suitable for singing that tells a story in simple language), written by me, is intended to be humorous. It should also have a noticeable moral. It has eleven stanzas (it took quite some time!) and an ABAB rhyme. I aimed at about ten syllables per line so I could add more description. Hope you laugh!
